This is an OEM brass brake adapter fitting, commonly found on 1986–1987 Buick Grand Nationals with factory or Hydroboost braking systems. It allows secure distribution of brake fluid from the master cylinder to the front brake lines or factory proportioning valve. A critical but often overlooked piece in stock and retrofit setups.
